Audi first released the Audi A2 in 1999 and continued the model for the coming years, the Audi A2 is a high end super-mini, produced by the experts at Audi. The last of the Audi A2's rolled out of the Audi car plant in late july 2005, seeing the end to the supermini designed to be a competitive model to smaller car manufacturers. The Audi Al2 was the original concept car to spur the design of the A2 onwards - it featured a very well noted construction mainly from aluminium.
Audi released several variants to the Audi A2, including model developments over the years and an audi a2 caddy - a small pickup truck like a2 which was shortlived. The easiest way to identify the model of the car (without looking at your used a2 logbook) is to check the colour of the "service panel" - a feature allowing the car to avoid needing a bonnet - earliest models were made in matt black plastic.
